“Yellow Feet” road-safety campaign

The “Little Feet – Safe Route to School” campaign helps our new first-year pupils travel to school safely and independently. Yellow footprints on the pavement mark suitable routes and safe places to cross the road. Together with community police officers Mr Seegrers and Mr Below, classes 1a and 1b marked these footprints at important locations near our school on 18 August 2026. They also discussed road hazards and practised crossing correctly so that the children learn safe behaviour and recognise danger. Daily practice with parents strengthens this confidence. The goal: arrive at school safely and, wherever possible, on foot!
